The curriculum we promote at the Training Station Home Preschool is ABEKA,  a Christian based reading readiness curriculum that is nationally accredited. We also, use some "Frog Street" curriculum, which provides a song for each letter of the alphabet to further enhance letter recognition and phonics.
Our K4 students learn to read through phonics. This teaching method encourages children to sound out each word. A series of 20 reading books are read in class and sent home starting in the spring of every year. Through this method of learning your child will be given a head-start in learning that most students do not have before kindergarten.

Our activities are in the fields of:
-Art
 Academics
-Science
-Movement
-Music
-Outdoor play
-Sensory related activities (smell, sight, feel)
  Public speaking

We prefer our children to learn by doing through the "Hands On" teaching method. This teaching method involves all five of a child's senses. This helps each child to learn more effectively. Providing them with an endless amount of opportunities as well as tools to explore and learn. Our preschool is filled with toys, games, musical instruments, and books.
Our playground area is a very large area with grass, swings, slides, a castle, scooters, and a truck sandbox.
